The Interiors of Man is a blog which I have created for the purpose of humane intent – my way of hopefully offering edifying content through artistic observations, and arousing contemplative reflections on the topics and content I will periodically post, which I find worthy of sharing. It was perhaps partly inspired years ago, after reading the works of James Baldwin and instantly identifying what made Baldwin a great writer aside from eloquence and courage. I believe that it was his deep observations of human behavior that defined his literature and gave it power. It was these very observations that instantly connected me to my silent observations of the intent of man, which truly defines man’s character, good or bad. Good character not only can be found in man, but in the creative extensions of man’s works produced with virtuous intentions. Literature, music, film, and art in all its forms are examples of such works, which I look forward to sharing here along with various commentaries. Thanks for your time, and thank you for reading.
